There is easy road access off the main A55 coastal highway to Alice Court Guest House in Llandudno.

The M56 motorway links with the M6 (North/South) Motorway and at Chester the motorway becomes the A55.
Llandudno is approximately 50 miles from Chester and the drive from Chester is less than one hour.
Holyhead port where the Irish Ferries arrive is approximately45 miles from Holyhead and is a 50 minute drive along the A55
The medieval walled town and Castle of Conwy is just 5 miles away from Llandudno.

Alice Court is located on Gloddaeth Avenue/Street which runs between the North Shore (Town beach & Promenade and the West Shore Beach).
You can access Gloddaeth Street from the main shopping street – Mostyn Street, where the two streets meet at the roundabout.

 
 


BY ROAD

From the Coastal Highway of the A55:
Please note that the Post Code in Sat Nav systems does not direct you to the property!

– Exit the A55 at Junction 18 and follow the exit signs for Conwy and Deganwy round the roundabout.
– You will pass by Tesco and Cineworld, McDonalds, heading straight on through a small roundabout.
– Then at the big roundabout, go straight across – signposted Deganwy along the A546.
– You will pass through Deganwy where the road narrows by the station and shops.
– Keep on the same road (A546) passing the houses and you will then pass by the Golf Courses.
– You will come to a roundabout.
– Go straight over the roundabout and over the bridge (crossing the railway) .
– Go past the North Wales Golf Club and continue until you come to the shops on your left.
– At the roundabout, take the first exit (slightly left) over the bridge (crossing the railway).
– Proceed until you see the car parks on either side of the road and vehicles parked in the middle of the Avenue.
Alice Court Guest House is on the right.


BY TRAIN

Frequent direct trains run from Liverpool, Manchester and Birmingham.

High speed express trains run direct from London Euston to Llandudno Junction in just over three hours.

A branch line then runs from Llandudno Junction to Llandudno (town) Railway Station.

Arriving by Train at Llandudno Railway Station:

– Out of the station and turn left along Augusta Street.
– Cross straight over at the traffic lights and continue to the top of Madoc Street.
– Cross straight over to the right of Trebells Fish and Chips Restaurant and walk along Chapel Street.
– Turn left onto Gloddaeth Street and walk across Deganwy Avenue and Clifton Road.
Alice Court Guest House is the second property on the left.


BY COACH

National Express run services to Llandudno from many parts of the United Kingdom.

Arriving by National Express:

– From the Coach Station drop off point, walk into the centre of the town along Mostyn Street.
– Pass the shops and churches and continue until you reach the roundabout at the top end of Mostyn Street.
– Turn left onto Gloddaeth Street and walk across Deganwy Avenue and Clifton Road.
Alice Court Guest house is the second property on the left.


BY FERRY

Irish Ferries and Stena Line operate daily ferry sailings from Dublin in Ireland to Holyhead on the Isle of Anglesey. The fast ferries take less than two hours to sail between the two ports. On exiting the port, you connect directly onto the A55 as it crosses the Isle of Anglesey to the mainland. The road then runs along the coast towards Conwy. The driving time to Llandudno takes just under an hour.

BY AIR

There is also a small airport on Anglesey, which is served by flights from Cardiff.
Manchester and Liverpool Airports are the local main airports and take around 90 minutes to drive to and from.
Manchester Airport is connected to the main line railway network.
Trains run via Chester with connections to Llandudno Junction and Llandudno itself.
